Making my first cosplay! Junkrat!

Why was the paint on the table? Does that bother anyone else?
It looks like a clear drop cloth/plastic draped over the entire work surface. You can see it at the edges of the table and in the background of some pictures. Not the best idea with scissors/blades/hot glue that can compromise it, but better than nothing.
This is pretty great work, especially for a first outing. Using the TP tubes was a really good idea.
Painting fabric can be a huge pain, and even the best can rarely do it well, especially on something fully articulated like a glove, since paint will try to dry solidly, and will stiffen the glove and look unnatural. In the future, I'd probably look for a base that was already colored like what you're looking for, or get a white glove that's easier to dye to that color, as dye will always take better than paint on fabric. Otherwise, for smooth paintjobs just all around, especially on porous surfaces, primer is your friend. All things considered though, I think it looks great.
If you want to try to go for it with the leg next time, one of the best ways to accomplish the look is to build the peg-leg to sit in front of your real leg, and use a black sock behind it to try to make the illusion work.
