Feel Yourself at Home Dude
Get me a beer and i'll tell you all about what's in the canister.
This is Rainbow 6: Siege for those who don't know.
It is absolutely worth the money. Try to go into it with friends though, not because playing alone is bad, but because it is such a fun game to share the experience with.
Amazing game, pretty good balance solely on the fact that everyone is relatively similar with some unique trait(The two you see in this clip are Smoke and Kapkan, both defenders, Smoke tosses a gas grenade that will hurt anyone in the smoke and Kapkan has Entry-Denial Devices that have a laser sensor and will explode if tripped).
The servers are pretty shitty though, and it's made by Ubisoft so it has a lot of incentive to pay money, but thus far I've gotten through just fine with only paying $15 for starter edition and I have no reason besides impatience to buy anything more(even most of the cosmetics you can buy with in-game money), so it's a step up from most Ubi games.
However they're planning on spending a full 3 months to upgrade the servers and fix game bugs, so hopefully, the server problems will be minimal or nothing soon.
Also, some more detail on the game: There's Attackers and Defenders. The game starts with about 60 seconds on the clock for defenders to put up reinforcements and any special abilities they have with relative safety while the attackers scout the area with drones. There's Hostage, where the attackers have to extract a hostage from the building; Disarm Bomb, where the attackers have to get to 1 of 2 bombs and plant a defuser, and then defend said defuser for about 20-30 seconds(not sure the exact time, but 30 seconds seems about right); and TDM Secure Area, where the attackers have to be in a designated room with no defenders in it for a short period(20 seconds maybe?). All game modes can be ended by the entire enemy team being killed.
The game is unique in the fact that many walls, doors, and windows can be destroyed, buildings can be scaled with the help of rappels, and any destroyable wall can be either A. Shot through without having to destroy it(good for when you've scouted somewhere with a drone and want to get a sneaky kill), or B. Reinforced by defenders so that it requires something special to get through(currently only the operators[characters]Thermite and Hibana can breach reinforced walls).
It has a mild MOBA feel because of the variety of characters and that nobody can play any one character at the same time. Each character has their own unique ability and loadout, from defenders like Mute who can set signal disruptors to stop gadgets and drones in their tracks, and Castle who can barricade doors and windows with much stronger reinforcements than usual that can't be partially broken(unlike normal wooden barricades), to attackers like Thermite who can blow a hole in reinforced walls(and normal walls) to Montagne who has a shield that can be extended to block his full frontal body and partial sides. It has a variety of different cultures, all based on real special ops teams(SWAT, SAS, GIGN, etc.), and different guns for each character, each team with some preferred types. It also has special abilities that vary per character but many can have, like Breach Charges which can blow a hole in unreinforced destructible walls, doors, and windows, to barbed wire which slows and makes noise when walked on.
My toxic babes are in position.
Get your fucking foot off the couch, man. It's white microfiber.
