Developers of the PUBG want to focus on a story mode that can be played on all the platforms. PUBG Corp. announced a new game that they were working on. Game is being developed by Striking Distance studio managed by Glen Schofield.

PUBG Story Mode game will be named as "Dead Space"
Dead Space will not be the second game of PUBG, but it will be an original game that has place in the PUBG world.
Glen Scofield shared a twitter post about this;
The only thing I can say now is that I’m not working on a sequel to PUBG, but an original narrative in the PUBG universe.Dead Space will have the basic PUBG environment, features, and graphics. You will experience a different kind of story in the maps that you have played for hours.
