Did Gabe Newell Point to Half-Life 3 in His Speech?

Half-Life 3. When you all hear that, you would be like "go away!" Don't worry, we have the same expressions. Most of the gaming community are looking forward to playing Half-Life 3 some day. However, we did not have any but any good news about that. One day, we suddenly hear something hopeful from Gabe Newell.

Gabe Newell who is the boss of Valve pointed Half-Life 3 in his speech.

Valve did not release 3rd version any of its game series. We all see 2 versions of Portal, Left for Dead, Team Fortress and of course Half-Life. However, they never bring up the 3rd game of any series.

Here is the part of his speech that he mentioned about the 3rd games of Valve;

Half-Life led to Half-Life 2, Source led to Source 2, the experiments with did with Team Fortress 2 are what enabled us to build Dota. Artifact is the reason we're able to do Underlords. Maybe someday, the number two will lead us to that shiny integer glowing on the mountain someplace.
